The obverse has four quadrants, each of which features a distinct scene. The first quadrant depicts a horse racing scene with three jockeys and three horses mid-race. The second quadrant depicts a monorail cart. The third quadrant depicts the central tower clock with four flags. The fourth quadrant depicts the entrance to the Exhibits.

The reverse features the smiling pig mascot (wearing a Stetson hat) with its arms raised in celebration. The words depicted read, "Los Angeles County Fair Pomona CA."
